With the University of Arizona in Tuscon there is sure to be plenty going on around town! Iw ould suggest catching a Wildcats-Sun Devils game! GO DEVILS!
To beat the AZ heat, head up to Prescott for a little camping trip. There are hiking trails of all skill level and some awesome camping spots to spend the night!
This is my favorite Sedona hike. There are old buildings, bridges and streams to cross. All of this in the middle of a canyon. This hike will leave you breathless but only from the gorgeous views. this hike is easy so take the kids and the pooch!
If you love to ski or snowboard you have to checkout the Arizona Snowbowl in Flagstaff! They have everything of beginners to black diamond trails and a killer lodge!
Another place I love to go in Sedona is Tlaquepaque. there are so many unique shops and yummy places to eat here. It is a must-visit when going to Sedona!
The Blazin M in Cottonwood, AZ is a home cooked cowboy inspired meal along with a cowboy show. We went last year for my birthday and had an awesome time. The show was funny and entertaining and the food was delicious! Just beware of the headless horseman!
Who could leave the Grand Canyon off the list of top 10 places to visit in AZ? The Grand Canyon speaks for itself and everyone should visit at least once! There were forest fires when we went so the pictures are not as vibrant as other pictures I have seen but I like the contrast between how fragile nature can be and how grand it is at the same time that my pictures portray.
This place is gorgeous and the view from atop the huge red rock are spectacular. When you go you have to read the story about how the Chapel of the holy Cross came to be. It is on a plaque outside next to the entrance.
This is a place I really want to visit. I drove past it before and thought about how fun it would be to pet an ostrich...yes fun... I grew up on a farm so I may have a different idea as to what is fun than other people do! But the ostriches are so cute with their long legs, long necks and long eyelashes!
